Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Who We Are

It all started about five years ago with feeding our unhoused homeless friends and community breakfast in a parking lot. As we built relationships, we saw the need was much broader than the basic supplies to live and survive… they were becoming incarcerated, struggling with mental/behavioral health challenges, fighting substance abuse, little to no support system, living in darkness, lost, in crisis, and the cycle would just keep going. They struggled with finding employment from lack of proper forms of identification, a physical address, hygiene, and stability.

During this time, we were both serving the same populaon, in the same town in different directions, but facing the same challenges even with some of the same people. So we decided it was time to come together as ONE if we truly wanted to make a difference in the community in which we live. We knew God had a bigger assignment for us to follow to grow His Kingdom… to positively impact and save lives.

This assignment was BIG. It led to serving displaced families living in our local motels, and our at-risk youth. They all faced many of the same battles of our unhoused homeless population, just in a different way.

So, OUR vision began… we both started taking classes to educate ourselves on how to help, how to break the chains, how to climb the mountains, and fully understand what challenges and barriers those living in these situations faced. We began walking through life with these “friends”. We dug down deep into the mess, got to the bottom, and set out in building a unique foundation of HOPE in/with each one individually. Every person we come in contact with has a special fingerprint, so the plan for their future looks different in how we serve. We literally step through life with them daily, keeping them focused, grounded, with love and support.

We’ve built strong relationships with great partners in our community that have resources for us to leverage to better meet those needs… as we like to say, It’s a beautiful mess. We have witnessed so much from recovery, stable living, families reunited, parents ge6ng their children back, job stability, GED’s, trade skills, new lives born, death, and anything one can imagine. But when you reach the ONE and a life is renewed, there is no mess we wouldn’t walk through to get them where they want to be… so we continue to walk through life with them as family.

Happy Boy
